Does Hochstamm need an account or the internet?
No. Everything runs on your device and your records stay there. There is nothing to sign in to.
How does the juice estimate work?
Press day starts from roughly 65 litres per 100 kg of press fruit. Once you enter your first actual pressing, Hochstamm learns your press's real rate and uses that from then on.
Can I edit or remove a tree?
Yes — open a tree and use its menu to edit the variety, planting year or nickname, or to remove it from the plan.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Hochstamm stores everything only on your device, so removing the app removes its records too. There is no cloud backup.
Why can't I log spraying or disease treatments?
By design — Hochstamm is a picking-and-pressing record, not a plant-health or spraying tool.
Does the app cover cider or spirits?
No. Hochstamm tracks juice only, from tree to bag-in-box.
